It’s been a long time coming, but I’ve finally created a tutorial on how I achieve touchable volume and effortless beachy waves. I’d been skipping the conditioner in the shower to prevent excess heaviness that would cause my hair to fall flat. This wasn’t the healthiest option as I wash and style my mane everyday. I was sacrificing how my hair felt in the name of volume and I realized I needed to reverse my current routine to bring in moisture without the weight. Enter: TRESemmé Beauty-Full Volume Collection. First, I use the pre-wash conditioner to soften and polish. Then, I wash away the weight with TRESemmé Beauty-Full Volume shampoo. It took awhile to get into the habit of conditioning before washing—fortunately the bottles are numbered for my convenience (especially when I’m half awake in the morning!).

After using the pre-wash conditioner and shampoo, I apply TRESemmé Beauty-Full Volume Dual Hair Maximizer. **For extra volume, apply mousse too!
Apply a small amount of the volumizing cream from root to tip.
Blow dry, focusing on the crown of your head. Gently hold sections of your hair up and dry using swift & short motions. Once the your hair is about 90% dry, switch the temp from warm to cool to set volume + shine.
Voila, touchable lift + healthy and onhealthy volume! For more oomph and texture, add beachy waves with a straightener, then finish off the look with TRESemmé Beauty-Full Volume Hairspray:
